NAB 2026, Las Vegas — the Academy and Emmy Award-winning developer of high-performance cinema mastering, transcoding and streaming technologies – has introduced a host of advanced AI, automation and usability features into the 2026 version of Transkoder, its high-performance, GPU-accelerated mastering and transcoding software, and has extended collaborations with technology partners including Dolby and Apple.

Colorfront Immersive Utility is a new macOS app that creates Apple Immersive Video files (.aivu) for playback on Apple Vision Pro. The app accepts video in ProRes, MV-HEVC, and other standard formats, pairs it with Spatial Audio and camera metadata, and outputs a single AIVU file ready for distribution.
