Colorfront Transkoder 2016

Transkoder 2016 is the latest release of Colorfront's standalone mastering system for digital cinema and high-end UHDTV production. Transkoder 2016 is currently in closed beta, please email us if you would like to participate.

Colorfront Transkoder is the ultimate tool for DCP and IMF mastering, including: the industy's highest performance JPEG2000 encoding and decoding, 32-bit floating point processing on multiple GPUs, MXF wrapping, accelerated checksums and AES encryption and decryption, IMF/IMP and DCI/DCP package authoring, editing, transwrapping.

Transkoder 2016 adds features such as dual 4K outputs for simultaneous HDR and SDR mastering, Dolby Atmos audio and Dolby Vision encoding, automatic calculation of MaxFALL / MaxCLL values for SMPTE ST 2086:2014 HDR metadata, Civolution forensic watermarking, AS-11 - DPP output, audio level meter and vectorscope.

Colorfront opens la office at Lantana

Colorfront opens new office at Lantana. Colorfront CTO Bill Feightner and director of business development Bruno Munger will be based in the new convenient Santa Monica location, ½ mile from the 10 and two miles from the 405 Freeways, with space for demos, trainings and client meetings.

We are delighted to have picked such a fabulous west side location, just 10 minutes from the beach. The Lantana campus offers a prime location within the Santa Monica Media District, with great infrastructure, flexible parking, massive Sohonet provided bandwidth for our cloud initiatives and it is close to many of our major entertainment and studio customers.

Arsenal uses Transkoder for HDR delivery on The Edge

Keeping the workflow current and in-tune with market demands Arsenal’s file-based architecture and HD-to-4K pipelines, including the very latest High Dynamic Range (HDR) processing and delivery, enable clients to experience a level of efficiency, value, performance and quality far beyond most other facilities.
